MAX (from Rietfontein)

Max – went missing on the 01/01/2012 from Rietfontein Pretoria. He responds to the name Max, front teeth is blunt, about 4 years old – loves to play with a ball and has a chain around his neck. Please contact Anneke at 012 427 0376 or 083 327 0247.

MAX

Missing Border Collie, responds to the name Max. Has been shaved and has an overbite. Went missing on 02/01/2012, in Lemon rd, Primrose. Please call Rene or Kobus on 082 927 1459 with any information. Reward offered.

LUKE

Luke was apparently stolen from Groeneweide, Boksburg, on Tuesday 17 May 2011. Please contact ANTIONETTE at 011 916 1306 or 083 286 5306.

STEELE

Steele, a neutered male BC and much loved part of a family went missing on the mountain above newlands forest in cape town last Wednesday (18 may). He is microchipped and was wearing a blue collar. Please could you add to your lost/found section as well as advise any vets / breeders etc you are in contact with this side? His family have spent the better part of the past 5 days combing the mountain looking for him, but no luck as yet, and we are now hoping that he may have been picked up by someone and has not been taken to a vet to be scanned – with the possibility that either his collar or his name tag came off in the bushes. FOUND BC CROSS

At Parktown North emergency vetclinic we had someone bring in a border collie stray on 20 June 2010. I have been trying to find her home, I have called all the SPCA's and surrounding vets, but I have had no success. She is now staying with me at my home for the time being. She is between the ages of 4 and 5. Completely black with grey shading on her stomach and back legs. She has been spayed and is well behaved, obviously not been mistreated. CAESAR

Caesar was lost in Jacob Street, Rietfontein, Pretoria at the beginning of December. Please contact Rieta Bekker at 082 845 2028.

LASSIE

Lassie is a 13 year old border collie who was in a white Toyota bakkie (registration number DHN 060 NW) when it was stolen from the parking area of the Dr George Mukhari Hospital in Ga-Rankuwa on June 4. Please contact Border Collie Rescue if you have any information.

SKYE

We believe that she has been taken in by someone and they have decided to keep her, however it is in her nature to run and I believe she will run from them as well. I would also just like to bring to your attention that she has had a recent liver infection that was treated and it may flare up again. Please can you be on the lookout if you are a vet for her should her “new owner” decide to bring her in. Name: Skye (Identipet says Phoebe as that was her previous owners name for her) Sex: Female, Sterilized Age: +/- 4 years but looks and acts very young often confused for a 2 years old Breed: Border Collie X Husky Colour: Black back, legs and head, White stomach, inside of legs, chest and face (one eye is ringed with black and the other eye has white eyelashes). Very loving and extremely clever. Lost from Dane Road, Glen Austin Ext 3, Midrand A distinguishing feature on her is that her one eye has white eyelashes and she is micro chipped with Identipet.

JESSE

Jesse was lost off the back of a bakkie on Christmas Day, about 15km outside Heidelberg on the way to Swellendam. Anybody with any information should contact Philip Pnematicatos at: 082 577 3680 or 021 913 8552

GUIDO

GUIDO is my Border Collie. He went missing last night. He opened the little gate and ran off. Guido is terrified of the weather and I was not home last night (23 November 2007) when the lightning and thunder started. Under normal circumstances he is friendly. Neo, went missing from Kyalami/Blue Hills area 27th July 2007. Family devastated and desperately seek his return. Neo has a sister who has also become very withdrawn.
