COCO and MISTY

COCO and MISTY

Meet CoCo and Misty, they are 5yr old sisters from the same litter and have not been separated since birth.
We would therefor prefer to have them re-homed together if at all possible.
They were born on 19 April 2016, CoCo looks like the father smaller in statue with the same character traits and ball skills.
Misty looks like the Mom, a little bigger in size.
They both have opposite 1 blue eye and 1 brown eye and are black and white in colour and have both been spayed.
They have been fully vaccinated and have had all their annual check up’s.
Both CoCo and Misty are loving, placid dogs.
Misty likes TLC and is more dominant and will nudge her sister CoCo out the way to get more attention.
CoCo prefers to play ball (like her Dad) and will fetch / catch the ball and keep bringing it back to you and if you ignore her she will drop the ball on your feet until you continue to play. Should Misty catch the ball CoCo will take it away from her and bring it to you. Misty very rarely will bring it to you because “its CoCo’s job”.
Neither dog likes thunder.
Misty will hide under the table / chair but CoCo will run wild around and around the garden if she is not brought inside and even still will not be comfortable with the sound, CoCo appears to have higher sensitivity to high pitch sounds, even a motor bike she will bark at when heard miles away on the Motorway.
Coco and Misty went to puppy training so have the basic training, they are outside dogs and will only just step over the door threshold and lie there and will not come any further into the house without being invited.
If we are unable to see Coco we can say to Misty “where is CoCo” and she will run off and bring CoCo back with her, CoCo does not reciprocate but will bring you the ball instead.
Misty loves being sprayed with the hosepipe and will try catch the water and run towards it, CoCo does not mind water but keeps her distance and will run away from the water while trying to catch it.
They both love their bath, they will fall asleep in the dog washer’s lap while she is drying them with a towel in the garden in the sun.
CoCo and Misty are not used to going for walks on a leash and have not been exposed to many other dogs, due to the garden being big enough for them to run, we have not had the need to take them out as CoCo was more on edge and anxious and we felt we were not doing her any favours by getting her all worked up.
CoCo and Misty have never been in kennels.
We have always had someone stay at the house if we have gone away. During the day we have a full-time gardener and house keeper. I am also in and out all day and so is my husband, now with COVID working from home more. CoCo and Misty are my 5yr old son’s best friends so when he is not at school he is out in the garden playing with them, we can always see where my son is in the garden as the dogs will be with him.
For an application form contact mwmoz@mweb.co.za they are still with their owner at the moment.
