Her Story:
Bagheera was a special little dog that has been through so much. After being through mange, having to eat rocks to survive, being shot with a pellet gun, thrown out onto the street by a family she thought loved her and extreme abuse, she was found on the street by a friend of mine.
I collected Bagheera and I started fostering her until she would find her forever home, but once in a lifetime a dog chooses you and that’s exactly what happened with my sweet little Bagheera.
She went from rocks, to a healthy diet. From being full of fleas and mites, to having the softest black coat. From being terrified of people, to being the sweetest dog with all ages of people and above all she slept in my arms every night.
Bagheera loved to go on hikes, camping trips, the dog park and working with other dogs to help train them, she loved her soft food and cozy jackets ,but above all she was the love of my life and I was hers.
From a dog that people discarded like garbage, to a dog that meant the world to me and so many others.
In the end she was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, but instead of being lonely and in pain, she was loved and in my arms till the very end.
She might have just been a little old rescue dog to many, but she changed my world.
